Ribbon cutting ceremony was held for new Classroom Building at Robert E. Lee High School No. 33 in Jacksonville, Florida on September 19, 2011. The event was a celebration and open house for the facility which houses Lee’s Science and Engineering Academy Magnet (SEAM). The building, designed by R. Dean Scott, Architect, Inc., features three stories and encompasses approximately 42,000 sf. It contains two engineering labs, three science labs, an art lab, skills development labs, general classrooms and administrative space. The project was substantially completed in August 2011 and opened for the 2011-2012 academic year.
Since 1989, R. Dean Scott, AIA, has partnered with Duval County Public Schools on over a dozen major projects and over thirty continuing service projects.
Danis provided construction management services for the $10 million classroom addition.
